I want to use these newer wheels (2012 lol) on an older bike (1990s). The current cassette is a Shimano hyper glide 13-21t and the derailleur is 105 with a pretty short cage. The current cassette will stay on the older wheels for the trainer but the slightly bigger cassette would be nice for my hilly area. Would this work?

The cassette is compatible with with the hub body and the derailleur can take 7 speed and max 28T…si probably will fit perfectly
Just me? I see a 35mm freehub body. Then you need a spacer for 7spd.
