sam_odle on February 3, 2024 9:58 pm Hi all, was pumped to ride my new bike but the screw that holds the seat in place won’t budge. It says to tighten to 5Nm and I’ve tried going to 5 in both directions and the screw hasn’t budged. Anyone else run into this? I really don’t want to crank on it to try to loosen it up.
Hot-Ad8767 on February 3, 2024 10:27 pm Wait I misread, so you’re saying it wont loosen up? You can try more than 5nm to loosen up. The 5nm is for tightening so you wont crack the carbon seatpost

Take the post out, clean it and apply the carbon paste
