I’ve just cleaned and serviced a Mavic freehub.
I’m having trouble reinstalling it. The pawls are not allowing me to lock it in.
I’ve checked the video sources. It’s just a small counter clockwise twist. Apparently.
I cannot get it to drop in. I’ve tried light loads, heavier but not excessive loads. A smooth action, a jiggling action.
Nothing.
I feel like there’s and industry trick.

Solved. Perseverance and patience are the key.
Rubber band around them, then cut it away once the pawls are engaged.
Twist and push.
I think I remember that the first time was very painful, but when you get it, you will not have the same problem again.
I’ve heard people use dental floss around it, and then release one end once they’re in and pull it out.
The ole twist and swear method works for me though.
