  1. Looks like the cage is bent/twisted. Cage is the part holding 2 small sprockets.

    It can be twisted back by holding the lower sprocket axle with an adjustable wrench (the one jaws move in parallel). But since we don’t know the original shape (some cage has an intentional “twist”), smooth shifting is NOT guaranteed.

    Usually, 2 small sprockets are parallel to the cogs at any position.

    Looks rotating part of the cage is not parallel to the cogs…
    Remove the derailleur and check derailleur hanger is not bent. Reinstall and make sure the end of the B-tension screw (a small silver screw facing back seen in picture 2) butt against the small notch on the hanger.
