I like it. But, with rising costs all around us, it’s tough to give up money for another monthly bill, no matter how small. Especially with no attendant. I’d continue to store my bike in the closet at work. I may drive into the city 1 time a month. Cost me about $5 to park for an Hour, if that.
Again, I love the idea. Hope it continues to spark creative ideas &, maybe this works for enough people?

What really kills this is that “secure bicycle parking” often requires a lot more than what car parking costs. For car parking you can get away with an empty lot and terminal to pay your parking fee, or even just old school parking meters.

To make bicycle parking secure, you basically have to have it indoors and patrolled because bikes are so much more susceptible to vandalism. The most basic you can do is those bike lockers that enclose the entire bike, but those are pretty space ineffecient and often have trouble accommodating non-standard bikes like cargo bikes. Even bikes with tall or wide handlebars sometimes have issues.
