Planning my first trip with a booked flight. [GPX here](https://www.komoot.com/tour/1428371632?ref=wtd&share_token=ak3Qswv0K8nsoBwHpZAPKFfOVLJUuwxQZxwrPzSh1e2XqTnMHp). Plan is to leave from Finland, bike to Budapest and then fly home to Sweden. I did the routing on Komoot, using its “gravel” setting and looked through the whole routing so now it’s only 20/2500km state road. Some questions.
1. My bike can take 50mm tires. Should I upgrade my Schwalbe G-one Bite performance 45mm to a fast rolling 50mm for comfort? I run tubeless.
2. For the flight home. Plan is to stay in Budapest for like 2-3 days then leave.
1. Do you contact a bike shop ahead of time for a box or do it when you arrive?
2. How do you get the box to the airport? Local transport?
3. Any opinions on routing? I have about 2-3 weeks of time do it (120-180km/day), which normally isn’t a problem but I don’t know the road quality in the Baltics. Does the distance seem unreasonable? Should I try to get move paved roads in the routing?
Thank you!

For point 2, I like to prearrange a bike box. Saves a load of hassle of running around bike shops when you get there. And if you don’t speak the language, it’s easier to use Google Translate and organise all through emails or WhatsApp.
I’ve not seen many that advertise it on their site but most are open to it if you get in touch.
