Discovery Channel Trek Carbon Madone 5.2 SL 2006 – 20097 (he’s not sure). Asking $500.
It has a mix 105 shifters and ultegra crank.
Looking for a starter bike. My main is the potential need for future repairs on such an old bike. I’m sure the frame will outlive us all but the components not sure.

I say 300 tops for this one
I would generally avoid 18 year carbon in favor of aluminum or steel. carbon can last a long time if taken care of but it’s much easier to hide damage in carbon fiber than other materials.
the madone was a good bike at this time. the price is okay.
