How tight is the lockring?
Is there a thin spacer behind the cassette?
Did you assemble it with the correct spacers between the cogs? They look really close to one another…
The shimano 11-34 11spd cassettes come with a spacer in the box, you need to use it on an 11spd hub.
In your case you do need the 1,85mm spacer that is supplied with the cassette.
It can be confusing since only CS-HG800-11/CS-HG700-11 need a 1,85mm spacer for road freehubs.
You do not need a spacer if you put these cassettes on an mtb hub.
I have two 105 equipped road bikes and they both do this. Always thought it was normal. It never affected me when riding.
Hey guys thank you all for your comments but I already fixed it with the help of other redditors!
I was missing the low spacer that Shimano gives, since I don’t have a MTB hub and this cassette needs one.
