I really love my current bike (2nd Slide), but the my steel pursuit bike I’ve owned prior rode differently (obviously, but not by much.). Let it be known that I’m no frame material expert by any means lol anyway, I’ve noticed how balls feel like they are always going to break with my current aluminum frame on bumps etc. My steel rides felts alot more forgiving when it came to the same conditions I mentioned. That said, the aluminum bike felt alot more responsive when it came to delivering power, it just felt connected compared to my good ol steel that felt sluggish. I’m not sure if I just became more stronger as it has been a few months since I last rode my steel bike. Both bikes are geared 49:15 btw.

Overall, I still love both bikes I mean how could I not?! What do Yall think?

  1. Know exactly what you mean. Currently have a very bad tailbone and hip after bailing the other day and my ally bikes are agony. My old 531 bike is very comfortable but not as fast.

Might have to squeeze larger tyres onto the ally commuter.

  2. 25c wheels? I think with the trend of bigger wheels now the overall difference in weight and cushioning isn’t as big
