Wrong orientation for a snake bite pinch flat. The holes would be in line across the width of the tube, where it got pinched against the rim edge.
What you have looks like maybe you damaged the tube using a tire lever to get the tire over the rim, or got it stuck between the bead and rim flange.
That’s a snakebite alright. Usually due to poor installation or running very low pressure.
Do you have pictures of the tires? Might be a warranty issue.
lol, that looks like a staple. A snakebite from a pinch flat is caused by the folded over sidewall sandwiched between the road and ground, so the two holes are at the same location of the circumference and slightly separated around the tube on one side or the other.

Snake bites will be two holes on either side of the tube, not in line with each other, and generally, the holes themselves are not perfect round, punctures, but more elongated
