I have not ridden one of my bikes because of a chain problem a few months ago. Yesterday I went to take a look and saw that the cassette was all wobbly so I removed and installed it again, so that was fixed. I did not remove the freewheel body because it was late (deep cleaning took a long time) but after putting everything back together and the wheel on the bike I realized that it was not spinning freely so I must have put something in the wrong order, most likely on the drive side.
Since I’m going to open the hub again, decided I might as well remove and grease the bearings under the freewheel body too. It was not clear to me how and what tool I need to release it. I found a manual but it does not inform what tool should be used.
I am 99% sure this is the correct manual even though I didn’t find anything written on the hub. The bike is a 90s Specialized Hardrock

You can try dripping some light oil in there to get it working again.

Leave the freehub mounted to the wheel until the cup is loose enough to unthread by hand. Then, remove the freehub from the wheel.
