That’s beautiful. I had an Austro Daimler like this in the early 80s… All 531, with Shimano 600 the cheapest I could put a quality bike together. I miss it, it was more touring bike than anything. I keep having to fight off nostalgia.
You know what else A/D made, the top of the line Sears bike in the 60s, the Ted Williams Free Spirit model all out of 531 as well. Always on the lookout for one of those in my size and decent shape. https://www.ebay.com/itm/256025282778

I have an 86 Puch 170 converted with townie bars from a newer Bianchi, and 27 x 1 3/8 knobbies, the drivetrain was Suntour Mountech but I upgraded? to newer Suntour stuff sometime in the 90s. I ride it a frequently. I guess it has a bout 10,000 miles on it maybe a bit more. It was comuter for years. Good sturdy bike not quite as fancy a frame as your. I assume you had to spread the stays for the 11 speed stuff?
