I just changed the cassette on my Diverge from an 11-32 to and 11-36. I want to make it a better climber. The front is a Praxis 48/32 and the back is an Ultegra medium cage. I added a wolftooth road link so the jockey wheels would clear the large gear. It’s shifting well, but I feel like the derailleur maybe under strain in the longest stretch. I didn’t touch the B screw. I’ll probably just ride it and avoid this combo. I’m worried the longer chain will have too much slack when it’s in the opposite combo. Any input is welcome. Thanks.

Do not ride in that combination of gears.

Don’t cross-chain. Wrecks the drivetrain and is inefficient. Chain is probably fine if you’re able to remember this.
Yes, you need a longer chain.
Measure your chain in small-small, just long enough so that it takes the minimum slack out of the derailleur. This way you’ll always have enough on either end, if you accidentally do cross chain. Any other method is dumb.

The real question is how it looks in small – small this might be as long as the chain can be.
That rear deralure is screaming for its life in big big I wouldn’t ride it
I’d ride this, you’re not supposed to use big-big or small-small combo. and even if you do it won’t destroy it immediately.
That derailleur is 34 max, you can’t really expect it to operate super well with 36. I’d give it one more link and see how it does on the opposite end.
