my bike has a flip flop back hub and i never flip it. i was thinking about getting a new wheel set or just back wheel but my rims are still fresh, would it make more sense to get a new hub n rebuild it and save some change? any recommendations for fixed gear hubs or back wheels?

There’s no sense in tearing down a completely functional wheel. If you’re set on buying a new rear wheel, get one with a fixed/fixed hub so you can run fixed cogs on both sides, so you can try some different ratios. I’m assuming that there’s a freewheel or just freewheel threads on the other side of your hub.
Unless you really need another cog on the other side, just keep running it while saving up for a back wheel or a different wheel set.
Carbon road wheelset then relace rear
