Looking at Marketplace and would love some input. Looking for my first road bike but with a little versatility and comfort.
– 2017 Jamis Renegade, 2×10 Tiagra, $675 but willing to negotiate
– 2020 Cannondale Synapse Sora, listed at $800 but I’m trying to push $650 since it’s on sale new for $920 right now

I have a 2016 Renegade that did everything. Single track, road rides, commuting, adventure racing, bike party rides. It’s a great platform.
l had the same [Renegade](https://imgur.com/a/ORsOBwC) l thought it was a great bike. Take that one for a ride. lf you like it, think twice about letting it get away over $50, or so. The price isn’t too bad for a Reynolds 520 steel bike with a carbon thru axle fork, Spyre brakes, WTB tubeless wheels and warts all over to mount any contraptions you want
l don’t know anything about the Synapse. So, l looked it up. Spec vs spec, l think the Jamis wins
