My Canyon endurace CF 7 arrived today, and when putting together the parts in managed to take of the casette and part of the hub without applying excessive force. It just came loose when I was checking if the casette was mounted okay.
What do I do now? Is this normal for the latest 105 12spd?

Happened to me too and I freaked out. But these hubs are meant to come apart like that. Just clip it back together and it’ll be fine.
I would suggest googling or finding it in the sub
