  1. It’s hard to tell exactly what’s happening here, but it looks like you’re missing spacers. You may have tried putting a larger rotor without adding a caliper spacer. For example, I have YT Capra with a post mount for a 180 mm rotor but with a spacer I can fit a 200. If I just try to put the caliper on the frame without said spacer it’s not going to fit.

Undo mount bolts, apply the brake and tighten the bolts again, this sometimes cures the problem, if not you could always try: get a felt tip pen and hold it against the disc when it’s spinning to mark the bend then get adjustable spanner with cloth and bend it gently (do this at your own risk).

  3. Why don’t you have brake pads installed? Also IS mount to postmount might be the problem. Try a different adapter. I’ve a Shimano adapter and it works flawless on my old bike.

  4. are you getting some rub from side to side runout of the rotor? Or is it up and down? If it’s up and down, the new caliper mounting area is probably a mm or 2 thinner than the old one. You’ll need to put a washer or spacer between the adaptor and caliper.

  5. I froze the video just before the 1s mark to see that the aft caliper mount hole in the frame is a… long slot? Wtf is with that? Either that’s been meddled with or you are missing some mounting hardware.

  6. This is super common, don’t listen to the others.

Simply loosen one side and tighten the other. There is a chance the axle isn’t entirely in and slightly off.

Best way to fix it is to close one eye and look down the rotor and tighten each side independently to shift it.

However, there is also a chance one of the cylinders are leaking/stuck

Wow. Looks like your caliper isn’t lined up where the rotors should be. I’m assuming brake pads aren’t installed yet.

Wheel true doesn’t have anything to do with the hub or rotor. The adapter should be the same from one brake to another. Some adapters are different, but a rear IS to post 160mm adapter will work the same across brands.
The audio from the video sounds like it’s an intermittent rub… All that is, is the rotor is slightly out of true and the caliper needs adjusted. Look up disc rotor truing and caliper adjustment.
Not sure why there aren’t any pads in there. The caliper must be massively misaligned with the rotor or the rotor must be massively bent for it to still be rubbing on something.
