I have a brand new Cube Stereo one22 with fox float DPS rear shock. I took it for one ride so far and while cleaning today, I noticed a loose o-ring at the bottom of the shock, see also:

I haven’t noticed anything weird during the ride, but I am an absolute newby when it comes to MTBs; maybe it’s too subtle to notice. Any ideas if this is normal? Left there after assemlby perhaps, or did it come out of the shock?

That’s supposed to be there! That helps you set your sag and see if you used all your travel (hint: you definitely did). Your front fork likely has one too, btw.
