Good work on chain maintenance! If it’s still good, no reason to swap it out. If you’re suspicious you can take it to a shop and have them use their chain checker to make sure yours is correct, or you can use the ruler method.
Get a 0.5/0.75 chain checker. If you have an 11+ speed chain you want to replace at 0.5 for the longevity of the rest of the parts. 8/9/10 you can go to 0.75 but when 0.5 is dropping in easy you know you are getting close.

Is there more markings on the other side of the tool? Because you are checking for what it looks like 0.75 wear which would be massive wear…
You need to use it with the markings according to your speed rating for your chain (0.5 for 11 and 0.75 for 8-9-10)

You’ll probably want to replace the cassette too (to work better with a new chain).
MAybe you wait it out and replace both at the same time.

How on earth do you get 7500km out of a shimano chain. Even the zerofriction lab tests are at 0.5% in less than 3000km.

If you don’t ever put out large power numbers, the chain can outlive you and I (from a stretch point of view… obviously they will fail due to rust or wear and tear but those don’t always show up with stretching)
