Ok so first off Ill probably change direction (so starting in the South and going North) read thats more favorable with wind direction.
I also havent planned what places to hit on the islands themselves, so still going to change the route there.
Would appreciate and tips about cool places nearby, bad path choices by myself, or any other improvements recommendations that you have.

Not cycled up north but a thought…
* Skye – roads are narrow and depending on when you go, could be busy – lot of wide camper vans down single lane roads etc.
* As an alternative, why not look at the Hebridean Way – your itinerary is already pretty close. https://cycle.travel/route/hebridean_way
