Wanted to try out a thicker bar tape for shits and giggles so went with the Wolf Tooth supple bar tape. It’s too thick. Thicc?? Wanted to try brown to see if it set off the tan walls but I’m not loving it. Anyone have recommendations for color/tape? I’d like some cushion but I find I not digging the chunkiness of 5mm bar tape.

Black for simplicity or go purple to match those tiny parts. Dark brown works too

Supacaz makes some pretty wild colors/designs that could pop with that purple. Fizik makes some little pads you can put under the bar tape to thicken them up without the same bulk as thicker bar tape.
Supacaz Super Sticky Cush. I have it in coffee, looks rad, comes in three thicknesses, I use the middle one.
I’d do the supacaz black fade to oil slick. The blue/purple will give a subtle nod to your stem/steer.
