Samosa is one of the underrated Street Foods in the World – which we would like to introduce to you today in this “Street Food in Berlin” Episode with Street Food Iranian Style.
This Samosas are handmade filled with boiled Potatoes, Carrots and Peas as well as our own Spice Mix according to an Original Iranian Recipe and are then Fried until Crispy and Golden Brown.
And with the homemade Dal – The Lentil Stew – as a topping for the Rice and the Sauces with the fresh Salad, it is a Feast for the Senses.

The Herb Dressing and the Hot Sauce are Homemade and do not overwhelm the Samosa or Dal but rather Support the Taste.

[3] Salad are daily fresh washed & cutted at Home

Like everything else, the salad is washed fresh at home every day and cut by hand.

[4] Dal is a type of Lentil Stew

Dal is a classic from Indian cuisine. Dal originally refers to dried and split legumes such as lentils, beans or peas. In the south of Iran, this dish has been established since ancient times, especially in the port city of Bushehr.

[5] Samosa Dough

The Samosa Dough consists of Flour, Water, Salt and Sunflower oil. The Dumplings called Samosas in India are spread from the Middle East through Central Asia to Africa and Southeast Asia. The word probably comes from Persia, where the Dumplings are called “Sanbosag”.

[6] Potatoes, Paprika, Peas and their own Iranian Spice Blend

This is an original Iranian Recipe. Of course there are many different ways to fill the Samosas and countless Recipes from India, Pakistan, Africa and other Countries.

Because sometimes we Humans are a bit conservative especially when it comes to Food we also wanted to push the boundaries and we didn’t always want the same thing A bit of creativity in Cuisine as well as in Art Creativity is not only Part of Art, but also Part of our Cuisine
