Both about 27 lb, chisel may be a touch heavier than the carbon polygon. Chisel has 100mm fork vs 120mm on syncline. Would be doing some marathon racing, not super seriously, in central Texas. Would probably add some lighter wheels, 120mm SID and other bits over time. Any thoughts on one versus the other? Both about $1300 right now

I would take the Specialized over the cheap carbon on the Polygon. Plus you would have local shop support most likely.
