Bulgaria is Chernobyl, after the nuclear explosion. I have never been to a country where I wanted out ASAP. Not just the infrastructure, the people, too. Nobody smiles. No couples hold hands. It's a loveless place. Burgas was probably the better part of the country, but full of rubbish. The wine was awful. Food was average. It was as expensive as London. I don't know how people survive there. How did they go from one of the cheapest European countries to one of the most expensive in six months?
I've seen over 50 countries, Bulgaria holds the number one spot, king of the toilets.
