  1. I’ve got a question about 3 leading 3 trailing spoke lacing. I’ve been following [this](http://web.archive.org/web/20130729055657/http://www.baldurdash.org/OtherStuff/3leading3trailing.html) guide which suggests that I could unlace a 36h 3x wheel and lace it 3 lead 3 trail with the same spokes because the spoke length shouldn’t change, and if anything the same spokes might be too short. In my experience with this low flange formula hub, and single wall box section rim, the spokes are too long when switching from 3x to 3 lead 3 trail, interlaced or not. Has anyone tried this and had a different experience? I’m thinking if I got my hands on a high flange wheel with a 3x cross pattern I could switch it to 3 lead 3 trail without having to purchase shorter spokes. I enjoy tinkering with old wheels that would otherwise go unused and collect dust.
