Hello,

Ordered a Propain Hugene. Yay!

It’ll come with Newmen Advanced aluminium rims (1800g) – Schwalbe Magic Mary/Big Betty 2.4 Soft. I’ll use this set for going down hill only (i.e. go up with the cable car, go down). Probably a bit overkill, but I’d use them if I have them. Trail examples: [clip 1](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QR9Xh5b1fX8), [clip 2](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQNehm7dwe4)

I also have a pair of Specialized Roval Control Carbon (1450g) – these will be my primary wheels for going up and down. Will use them 80% of the time on local greens, blues. Maybe sometimes a bit more difficult than that, like this: [clip](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1OS0FWiE_s)
I’ll also climb a lot of hills with this set, so I need a good all-round tire set: lighter, faster rolling, but maybe not something 100% XC. Maybe XC-trail.

A few ideas I’ve read about:

* Schwalbe Nobby Nic / Wicked Will SpeedGrip
* Maxxis Dissector front, Rekon back
* Maxxis Forecaster MaxTerra front, Forecaster dual compound rear
* Specialized Ground Control front, ??? rear
* Specialized Purgatory front, Ground Control rear

Also, what widths? 2.35-2.4? I’m new to this, any advice is welcome.

PS: We don’t have desert/canyons here in Romania. So no “Sedona, Arizona”-like terrain.
