Purpose of the app cuz I feel like I haven’t gone over that for a little while is it’s this app the Too Good To Go app and you can reserve from various supermarkets places like Gregs Costa Starbucks all sorts of places do it bags of food that is about to expire or even

Sometimes has already expired still fit for consumption it’s still perfectly good they just can’t sell it anymore so it’s destined for landfill which is Criminal so it uh absolutely reduces food waste which is brilliant and I’m all about that eco-friendly side of it it’s also a really good way of getting a

Lot of food very inexpensive Ely you’ll typically pay about3 off per bag and it will have a minimum value so it will say okay you pay3 but the bags to a value of £10 most places that are good the value is actually much much higher than that

But you know every place varies some places are great some places not so much it’s look at the drawer so today I went to wdi I picked up two bags again this is cuz I’m trying to make the penny stretch I’m not hoarding them or anything like that and uh pay £330 per

Can’t read though they’ll be absolutely fine and I’ll probably eat them pretty quickly oh this is exciting four Brilliance cuz I’m a family of four so that that works out nicely and the 8-month-old won’t eat a whole one of these but she will eat them I made some homemade burgers yesterday

And she wolfed down like a third of one so but anyway I digress wagu Quarter Pounders isn’t wagu that really expensive steak what oh please tell me you’re gluten-free please tell me you’re glutenfree yes they’re gluten-free these are going straight in the freezer well happy the whole value of the bag is

Probably made up of these fabulous okay ready to eat pre-cooked chicken slices Peri Perry chicken slices these are great for Ed’s lunches and they freeze fine as well it even says freezable on the box so I’m not just ninja freezing and going rogue therey dokie let’s have a look at you

I’ve got some satsumas these have have seen slightly better days haven’t we all so we’ll get those used up pretty quickly I think cuz they look like they might be on the turn a bit but that’s not a problem we’ll use them pretty quickly apple and grape Snack

Pack I’m not a fan of buying things like this just purely because the you know it’s a lot of plastic but yeah um but they will get used I have a toddler she will 100% % eat this if not tonight then tomorrow oh ed’ll be a happy boy ready

To eat puff pastry beef and vable words are hard V beef and vegetable pasty there you go it’s freezable as well so I can bung this in the freezer it’s actually off sick at the moment um he had a nasty accident on his bike and has ruined his

Knee so he’s not doing work lunches for the next couple of days but it will freeze and defrost and heat up in the microwave just fine and then finally in this bag we’ve got 12 mini white pits oh these would be really cute to do little

Mini um toddler pizzas with ooh ooh what I might do is put these in little freezer bags with a couple in each bag or maybe just one big one and pull them I I’m going to freeze them Pitter bread freezes amazingly all baked goods really freeze really well

So they will definitely get used that’s exciting again something I would look at and think that looks good but never actually buy so it’s another perk of getting these bags is you get to try stuff right let’s have a look at the other one okay it’s looking

Good get the boring stuff out the way and leave the good stuff to the end I think I have two more bags of satsumas uh again these um have looked better I’m sure but um what I might do is drop a bag of these around my neighbors she’s used to getting weird

Now we get to the good stuff oh that before we get to the good stuff there’s another Apple pack I will have one too now the really good stuff I like the Aldi U boxes because especially the one near me they tend to give you meat items which um different supermarkets seem to

Be good at giving you different things the Morrison’s near me is brilliant for fresh fruit and veg they’re I can do a whole week Shop with a Morrison’s Magic Bag it’s brilliant sorry surprise bag um but Aldi seemed to give a little bit more processed stuff which you know it’s

It’s your thing it’s your thing but also meat items which are expensive as we know I’ve got a full pack of gluten-free sausages honey and must ooh honey and mustard sausages I don’t think I’ve had those brilliant they will be going straight in the freezer and we will very much enjoy
