Hope you didn’t pay too much for that mechanic. That would really bother me but not so much others, flip it.

  2. You’ll have less grip on wet streets. When mounted correctly, the tread will make the water beneath the tire escape to the sides. Else the water will be pushed from the outside into the contact area which is bad. But with your specific profile I don’t think it will make that much difference

  3. It’s fine, but I’d really recommend learning to change a tube. I consider it an essential skill of anyone who rides more than a mile from home and it’s not hard to learn.

  4. Every time i see that pattern i think of my first “fixie” man that was a pos but ur good op just ride it

  5. Learn to do all maintenance yourself on Fixed Gear. It will save you a lot of money in the long term. Changing the tube out can be intimidating the first time but once you get the hang of it you’ll be able to do it in no time!

  6. Unless it has a propper tread pattern it really doesn’t matter. As much as brands hate to hear this. Any road tyre no matter how many lines it has in it, that doesn’t offer grip.

Nope but you should know how to change it back. Its not hard and you only need tire levers

Most tires that have a direction arrow, the arrow is on there only because customers bother support with questions if they don’t put an indicator on there. It doesn’t usually matter.
