Around and watch till the end all right guys so starting with the first topic getting jobs in the UK how how how are you able to before you even tell us about the different kind of jobs how are you able to get your own false job in
The UK what was your false job and how did you get so I had a very um Regular experience that almost every student would have but I think mine is a little kind of exceptional because um I came in 2022 it was not easy
Honestly it was not so when I came in I started with um looking searching for jobs on indeed then from IND I moved to IND when I was not seeing some jobs that I wanted on IND so I moved to IND Flex so on IND Flex I was able to see jobs
Like um cleaner I needed to verify um just the regular thing onlex need to verify your yeah your account so I verified I got a cleaner job with a hotel that was my first job so I went to the cleaner job and I came back again and it was replenishment assistance in some
Shopping companies then I went for assistant then from there he was um it was a bad job and all that so I was just doing one job or the other on Flex it was because I’ve had little little experience um back in Nigeria so it was
Easy for me to navigate you know and started those um those kind of jobs so from in deep Flex I moved to working with a security company who is in 6 was to especially taking people to Stadium so I was working as a security for um as
A steward for the organization where we go to Manchester go to lead Stadium go to um Doncaster e Peter Brew um Arsenal Stadium you know we even went for the P coronation yes so it was one job to the other on on that on as a steward so gradually I
Moved into siia so I had to yes because some of the Ste organizations requireed that if you have siia you have a better pay and um a better job kind of so I went to do the siia got my badge um of course it last for 3 years very good um
And you can do um you can do those supervisor jobs and you can also you can work in t school you can work in C you can do Sia in um football organizations so you can you can work in stadium and all that so I I did same too and um it
Was easy for me to navigate and I got the training done got my badge started working working for those companies that I was doing Ste for but at this time I working as an so I was also going to those places like I mentioned and with my Nigerian driver’s license I also
Signed up for driving driving you did driving yes yes I did driv so I was um trained I was um tested by the organization and they found me competed enough and I started driving and for them so I started driving moving from with the Nigerian driver license so
Moving from going to different places I go to Manchester I go to beats I go to um donca Selby I go to scab pizo I even go as far as Scotland so yeah so Scotland is about 5 hour from 6 from I drive as far as Scot
Which car are you driving then um more it was about 14 C buses so I go with other stewards okay you know Nigerian system is kind of for system and how fast were you able to the thing is that you know here there’s a lot of policies right first you have
To unlearn the knowledge of how you drive in Nigeria you need to unlearn it totally and you need to start knowing differently on how to drive here in the UK it took me some time because I watched I’m supposed to get um I got a um a provisional license later on but
Because my nigeran license allowed me to drive for one year I said learning how to drive in the UK um first I started with YouTube videos I understand I understood how to drive how to you know move around round about where to to to use my navigator and when not to right
Um understanding how to know how to understand the root system how it works right um another thing is um knowing where to um like making sure that you are looking very well before you can turn before you can take a right before it could even move you know having a 360
Round look around so it was I learned all those things before I took I didn’t just take the car and started driving I have to learn you know have that skill on Le knowing how because if you make any small mistake here it will land you
Into trouble you get paid there’s a fine for it right for example you you pass during the red light you yeah so you be F seriously or you or in The Pedestrian Crossing you just pass you know there are there are laws there are policies here so I understood how those policies
Work and the company also tested me I found me very competent enough that was why they give me so I started going to those places going to Manchester and this and all that to take there and also work as an siia right for those organizations so so
From siia job I moved into care so I started working with one Care Organization who was very and they were very they really liked me and because I’ve had that experience in Nigeria where I cared for I I did care for an organization and from the little
Experience also that I have with my grandmother so I I understood how to take care of people understand how to take care of the elderly and all that so it was easy for me to move and I you know I after all the verifications I was
I got the job and I started working in the in the organization so has different Care Homes where I go to do my shift yeah so it was just from one step to the other one step to the other until I I got to this position first of I’m to
Ask the now but before you you you you you cleaner in fact the thing is that so it is not something to be ashamed of doing because there’s dignity in labor right I can be working in an office and and I’m doing 10142 or £146 and another
Person is doing cleaner in a hotel and is doing1 any and the person is any more than me even a n can can be working doing a n in my place and collecting 1046 because I have to pay the minimum wage and I have to do the same almost
The same amount where I’m working in in in a sec organization right so there’s dignity in labor right so doing the hotel cleaner was it was something that I’ve done that before so I know how to make my beds very well so it was something that was
Easy for me to navigate through even even if you don’t have the experience to do it you know if you go online and learn how it’s it should be easy and U sometimes they also show you how to do it you know the your manager will say
This is how to actually dress the bed and all that so you follow true good good I think with this now I think you’ve covered the different types of jobs in hly you’ve mentioned almost all the JS I can actually imagine you mentioned all of them I don’t think
There’s any J in my mind that you seriously is okay the only one you is working in the warehouse cuz I know that yes I also I also worked in the warehouse I worked in the warehouse as a as a security person then I also worked
In Amazon I worked in W house as a um what’s that thing called again so yeah it was warehouse warehouse job was it was interesting for me because I was uh working and also enjoying it I had some group of friends that are of the same lifelines like me
So we were really walking and singing and enjoying we were sting things and sometimes has to do with you you know certain pues you’re trained to the next person the next person is passing to the next person and all that I worked in the warehouse and
Um you know work in Factory I worked in Factory I’m going to this I work every sector in UK I work in Factory actually I worked as I worked in Chocolate Factory where we we we deep um what’s that we deep um um Apple in chocolate
Kind of we di it in chocolate yeah there a secret so in Factory you are being controlled by the machine yeah right so you yeah so you have to be very smart right because if you miss a line of production it affects the other person right that supposed to put something so
You the machine moves and you’re putting the apple and start going so I think it was interesting because we were all happy doing that that’s the most important thing right um walking and and um having grudges and it doesn’t it doesn’t sense but when you are working
And you’re happy doing what you’re doing and the managers are seeing you and they see that you are happy right so there was one of the factors that I work the guy had to put on um put Nigerian music and it was playing and we were all
Enjoying D and we working and before you know what is happening already hour you’re done with the that’s how it works so now now you’ve covered almost every every sector in UK as far as um startup is concerned you’ve covered almost every sector I think everybody right now watching this
Video you should have a glimpse of the kind of job you would meet if you are coming to the UK or if in the UK and you’ve not got a job these are all of the jobs you can actually do but now I would want let me just emphasize right
So these are kind of regular jobs you can get fast jobs something you can start working while you are preparing yourself for the future right if you are into care or you into hospitality you’ve done you’ve done something like that before you can you can go for a care job
And go through that route and become a career Get Your sponsorship and move on with your life and other but if you are into specific kind of um specific kind of courses that you’ve done for example you did an it you’re it engineer your website developer you you’re an app
Developer um while you are doing these regular kind of jobs you can also um apply for um website designing you know jobs it there are so many jobs in the UK that are it related and they need people like you there to manage so it is
Something that you can also do right I’m also a website developer I also did my first I I did one of my jobs here in the in the UK website jobs I got I got a job and I I quickly designed a website for the person right and I’m still doing
Some little little website jobs here and there but I know that it is well needed um um um skill that you can is a good skill for you to you know um use here also if you are into um I don’t want to use care because care and health care
They are all variated but if you’re an engineer right and you are some kind you or you do some professional kind of courses some um like marketing skills if you have very good skill in marketing and you have very good skill in sales and product design and product development honestly there are chobs
There right but because we needed to say when I came in because I wanted to settle down and I wanted to start working immediately just to you know end a living um quickly and save some amounts that I already have cut out for school fees and for other expenses I
Needed some extra so that was why I started working so you can also get those kind of jobs if you put your mind to it and apply but for now the regular ones you can start doing are these ones that I just mentioned good good so now
Now he has mentioned all of the jobs customer care of them but now now we need to know how to get these jobs because there there there are some things you did there are some ways you go about it to get all of these jobs because of our time I don’t think you
Can talk about each and every job but the ones you you still have full knowledge about tell us how you able to get the job and most importantly for people who are watching who who don’t have a job yet how they can actually I know you mention something like in time
So what what about other ones okay so um I would just mention two of them which is um siia and health right so for siia right um I told some of my friends then that before you dep depart from the country your country of origin it’s important to keep some amount of money
For for jobs kind of security kind of jobs right so um how to how to go about it is once you just come in you go register with an siia company and they get you trained right um some companies is about 400 some are about 300 some
About 500 depending on the company that you register with right so they get you trained sometimes it’s about one full week training from morning to evening so you get well trained on how to defend yourself as a security person on how to um combat some issues when when that
Location arises right so once you get trained with the security organization then you have to pay for um your security badge with the siia um organization it’s about10 about so when you pay for that SI B they will have to do some Security checks check your BP
Check your um check your um Visa page to make sure that you are actually valid and you are able to work in the UK so when they get all those checks done done they send they send you your badge that badge allows you to work anywhere in the
UK for at least 3 years right and after 3 years you can also go and renew the the badge right to just do one or few or to few CES and you just renew the the license again so that license allows you to work for 3 years um so that’s for
Security um you said you do training how far with the training fee how long is the training yeah so the training is um one week so depending on the organization right mine was one week full training and I paid £400 but I know some there are some organizations in
Lead and Manchester that are collecting about 3 350 70 there or300 but that depends that is depending on the organization some organ col 500 as much as 500 right but they will train you for one week is a full training right and you have to do some kind of exam to pass
And when you pass they will send your details to the siia organization to say that this person is qualified and able to um to be given back then you pay the amount £90 thereabout to the siia to siia itself which is the security security industry Association auth
Authority yeah then they get you the badge and they send it to you so once you get the badge then you start you start working so you can work as a door supervisor you can work as a a security in in um in um uh football organizations
And um Stadium you can also work in Warehouse you know anywhere that a security person is uh supposed to work you are qualified because that badge that badge allows you to work for yeah for about 3 years I think I had a one time I don’t know how it is someone
Said you can use count or is UK well I am not sure but I think with an SI B you should be able to work in the EU EU yeah EU countries um you know shenen countries I think that’s what it’s called yeah I think you should be able to
That those all right guys so that’s about security if okay well before we move to health for the security now that is about the security how to go about it how to get the license and all and also maybe I should ask to it if there some um things
You need to about security it’s it’s a job that you have to Lear out to start yes so because if you just security and then you g a job of 5 hours to start like I can’t do this just was you you have to be able to you you need to have
The strength to stand for a long time yeah right um so when for me I bought a very comfortable shoe that can allow me to stand that has some um Floy yeah soft So Soft Landing so I I it was able for me to stand for a long time in fact I
Worked in uh I worked in a festivals during the summer and it was interesting working as a security there is so interesting different festivals where you see how things are happening right so I enjoyed the festival and I also worked at the security but standing for a long time wasn’t difficult for me
Because I was just enjoying what I was doing right so should be able to stand for 10 hours then you you still have some breaks you know I think have ever St in this UK working as a security around 8 hours 8 hours well during the time where
I was supposed to when we were allowed to work full time as a student right during the holidays time there were there were times when I stood for 13 to 18 hours just have like two grades but 18 hours standing wow I hope I Sur but it was easy but I was enjoying
It and I was doing what you know it was a festival so it was it was fun all right guys so that’s about security so now let’s go to the next one health because I think health is what a lot of people always want want so I think this
Health want talk about would benefit a lot of people because everybody just want to go to so the thing is that there’s a massive opportunity in healthare and um it’s a very demanding sector even date right um but the basic thing is you um having that experience from from your
Country of origin knowing that um maybe you’ve done a health care job before and um it’s something that you can do here in the UK right so um first is once you come in and you have that experience that is needed right then you you look
For a job probably on Flex or from from other platforms of that Health platforms right or you go to straight to their website if you know them and apply directly but you need to structure your saving in such a way that it is acceptable um for for example getting a
A good UK Style not the regular style that is from your country there a style that they use here you know structuring your experiences very well so when you apply and you you make sure that you also have a reference because they would always check to ensure that you’ve
Worked in a healthare before right so they would always check so after they’ve done their checking and they they approv that you should work with them and the next thing they will do is to enroll you in training right because we believe that the level of training that you have
Might different in in in in different Industries it might be different from what they expect they train you here there’s a basic kind of training that is required there is an advanced kind of training that is required for you to get that job there’s a health um um food and
Safety training um basic health training um basic health awareness training um demential training there’s a lot of trainings that that organization would enroll you so after you’ve completed train might be 2 days it might be 3 days depend it might be one day day right
Might be a full day so after you’ve done the training they can then allow you to start working with them some of them might have an application where you have to pick shift or some of them might ask you to submit your availability they will give you a calendar to submit your
Availability so that was yeah that was it what I did so about about care is but I think now cuz I I I’m a student too and most people that are watching me most of them are probably students or maybe depend but for me as a student
There’s a particular problem we fa then and the thing is most Care Homes will say they don’t want because we are only limited to 20 hours weekly any of that happen during your time yes yes it did um the thing is um for me right first
You have to you can’t work more than 20 hours and that is what is stipulated in your V or the Visa that um that is given to you by UK you come work 20 hours right so for some of the organization that I applied some of them have have 12
Hours shift right so it’s 12 hours starting from maybe 7 to 7 right so because they have 12 hours shift and if they give you two days that means it’s 12 + 12 which is 24 and that means you passed the 20 hours limit right so some
Of them understand this and they will not be able to give you the job they will just tell you oh we have 12 hours and we have to give you more than one day so we’ve passed this it will be 24 24 hours so they will not just give you
The job but some would also give you a 12 hours and they give you just that once in a week so you be working with them just once a week for 12 hours wherever you go to do your remaining 8 hours is your business it might be the
Siia it might be in any other set up right it might be as a Ste word but you just have to do an 8 hours to make it 20 hourss right and so some might also um agree to give you a 10 10 hours kind of
Shift right so they give you 10 hours two days right or 10 hours twice in a week so that it will just be 20 hours right so once you do your 20 hours you’ve covered it for the week right you just have to wait again for the following week maybe the following week
They can decide okay we’ll give you a 12 hours so you just have to be doing and taking note of the time so that you don’t exceed the hours yes the hours as request as required by the law yeah by the law yeah so guys it’s a very Street
Rule 20 hours is a very stet R you have to ad to in the UK so that you don’t yourself in trouble so he has talked about the care the health sector and he has also talked about the security SP steth sector but now I would want him to
Touch about something this are our all student jobs and starting job STS job I want him to talk about Visa sponsored jobs like for example we are all going to we all going to finish one day and we want to look for Visa sponsorship job to
Keep us in UK so now how do you um um how do we transition to all of these jobs and how do we get all of these jobs because from as far as I know security jobs don’t give Visa sponsorship some care work gives Visa sponsorship where
Doesn’t give doesn’t give all those they don’t so how how do you get all of this professional aside El because people talking about only so let Visa sponsorship job okay so yeah there are so many um Visa sponsorship jobs but I think one of the things that a lot of people are not
Doing is not um channeling their search as they ought to right um there are sponsorship jobs in the healthare sector just like I mentioned earlier and um um some healthare sector if they decide to retain you right they might be able to give sponsor you that’s if they have the
License to sponsor or they have the numbers because they first apply um I think UK would give them the number they can they can say okay we are giving you 10 you can only sponsor 10 people five people there about so if that if they have that number then they can then
Sponsor right if you work for agencies most agencies don’t sponsor they don’t have the license they are just agencies they they refer you to Care Homes to work but they don’t sponsor right so for you to get a sponsorship with the Care Organization has to be a direct um Care
Organization to work with them directly right um but there are some jobs that also sponsor that a lot of people are not really considering I don’t know why but I know they are all out there for example if you did accounting or you did financing right there are so many
Organizations out there that when you when you apply okay they also sponsor um I had a seminar one time which we talked about student cir um student cir are for um there there is a platform where their are jobs for sponsorship jobs for um students right of the University so if
You sign up for student Cirus with my University and sign up with your ID you’ll be able to um see those jobs right you can see shell jobs oil companies jobs you can see accounting jobs so many of the big names companies they have sponsorship for those kind of
Jobs right but if you put tell your search very well for example even in inde flet you say sponsorship jobs accounting sponsorship jobs right you see the top ones the accounting organizations that sponsor right just that they will have some kind of requirement some kind of experience
Level of experience if you’ve had them from the country of your yes your country but there are jobs in those organizations the most important thing is for you to tell your search very well if you’re a student and your school have student Cirus signed up with student Cirus there are sponsorship jobs on
Those platforms if you’re are not a student you can you can apply directly without those organizations and during the interview or during the first um phase of interview or during the first phase of application you ask the direct question do you sponsor if they say no
You just move on if if that is what you want you just want sponsorship you just move on to the next organization right don’t try to apply and think that they sponsor and so you don’t waste your time so they don’t waste your time yeah okay
All right so thank you very much you’ve really been helpful I would want to Sol this section of getting jobs in UK here but before I end this section I think I would want to mention one more thing um so far so good you mentioned indeed Flex
As a way of getting jobs you also mentioned student cus and for me I think I knew about IND dit and I also know about this handshake from students um it’s might not be open to everybody but it’s for University of all students so now I want you to mention some other
Website you have in your mind that you can remember right now that you can get Js from okay so I think one of them is I’ve seen this website I think I appli some time and they gave me J that didn’t have time to do it it’s called
Stint s s i okay stin I want about stin so stint I think is a kind of flexible kind of job also um so indeed is also good indeed and indeed Flex right so there’s a difference so you know the difference there indeed and there’s an
Indeed Flex so Flex is for flexible kind of jobs like security like um um replenishment assistance um Hotel cleaner and all that they is kind of for care and for other kind of organizations so I know things I know um I know staff scanner staff scanner is for care um if
You apply with them you’ll be able to get a job I know Florence so there’s a Florence and there’s a Florence Flex right Florence for jobs Florence there’s a Florence Academy which is for getting the required knowledge for care jobs but there’s a Florence Flex Florence Flex is
For care specifically for get for getting care jobs specifically and it works it works well I was verified but I’ve not had time to work with them okay guys thank you very much on this particular session you’ve really really been helpful and I don’t know if

Car in the UK and how can we get a car in the UK everything we just need to me about getting a car in the UK so okay so first before you you you should get before you can get a car in the UK please Endeavor to know how to drive
Understanding the ru system right I will advise you to sign up with with a driving instructor and at least for a few hours and understand how to drive in the UK because if you make any mistake you are in for it right and um it can
Even it can even go as far as taking you to court if you don’t respond to if you don’t respond to requests right if you don’t respond to their letters and all that but yeah so if you if you have the money to buy a car at first car is cheap
Right quite cheaper than the than the place I’m coming from the most important thing in the UK is not get the car is getting the license okay getting the license but if you if you still have your provisional license from your home country which allows you to drive in the
UK for about one year you can also get a car now um before you buy any car in the UK the first thing you’re supposed to depending on the website you’re buying from you can buy from Moto Trader you can buy from um Faceook Facebook market
Right you can buy from um you can go to a regular walk into a regular shop and get a car right you can get cars as cheap as £1,000 700 £600 depending on where you’re buying from I think my first car was about um 700 yeah yeah and it was a
Very neat car very smooth drive car yeah so it was a volx right so before you buy a car um don’t it’s it’s not about um you knowing the brand of the because most of the cars here are are good but the first thing you are supposed to
Check is an mot right you check theot to check if it is valid to be on the road right if theot has expired please don’t buy the car never you buy an an a car that the mot has expired also I will advise you to never buy a car that the
Mot is near expiry okay especially because the person selling the car might understand but know that the OT is close to expiry the car has an issue and he wants to sell it off right so you not push it on your not push it on your head you will
Not start bearing after you buy it that’s when the main problem will start right so then you know start struggling to take it back and get your money back is a whole lot of struggle so if if if a carot has about 3 months to expire I
Would advise you not to buy even at 4 months I will advise you not to buy so if if you check and the mot was just done recently like a month ago two months ago is still good right if you don’t trust who you’re buying from right
And theot is close to expiry I will advise you to speak with the person that is about to sell the car to go do an mot before selling the car to you to you right so that they can verify that this car is good to be good condition on the
Road right to check mot is very simple just go to UK V website type Mot check ukvi I think the the government website carries that whole information and you check it you can also check the history so if you are checking anot and you are
Seeing a lot of fault um in the history let’s say 2022 it has it had about 11 fault which was fixed 20 20 um 2021 it had about 15 fult you know very long history kind of fault I don’t think you should you should go and buy because if
You buy it you would also experience that same problem right uh so always check very well before you buy the second thing is once you purchase the car let’s say you check the OT it is good you’ve checked everything you’ve bought the car you like it you’ve tested
It and everything you ready to drive please don’t move that car out of the place you bought it without doing a license for it and without doing an insurance for the car you must have to to ensure the car before it goes I’m telling you from experience must have to ensure the car
Before it moves out of the place and inch out of the place you bought the car you must have to do um what’s it called um a tax you must have to tax the car before you drive it if you don’t tax the car before you drive it and you get
Caught by the police you will not just you will not just forfeit the car you will still be penalized seriously or be taken to court wait you forit the car yeah yeah you can fit the car if if you if you drive a car that is not
Insured or you insure the car before you even insure the car you have to tax it okay right that’s the law requ you need to tax the car before you insure it right so let’s say for whatever reason you you insure the car you did not tax
It if you drive it there’s a problem right or let’s say you taxed the car and you did not ensure it if you drive it there’s a problem so don’t even move the car it’s either you get detected by the police or you get detected by the camera camera
Yeah the they have they have a 360i for everything they see you so if you move if you move the see you the camera pictures it captures the plate number really sit and and verify that this car is not taed becomes a problem okay you
Buy the car you did not tax it you left it at home for one month there’s a problem also let’s say that means you’ve gotten your keeper you’ve gotten your um um what’s it called your peer to say you are the new keeper right and you don’t tax the car after 1
Month before one month they would already send you a message to T you still did not reply to that right they send you another letter right they will increase the amount and if you don’t tax the car and I think about two letter the thir letter that taking you to court M

The bicyc on that on that same day so I called I called the police and I told them that I lost my basle they asked if there’s a camera there I said no and they said there’s nothing they can do that was just it right so um yeah
So it was a it was it was easy for them to see they just cut the chain and took it away I’ve been hearing cases like that even IIM also said that they stole his bicyle through his ATM card and everything I was like I think it’s

Want to give me the money back it didn’t take 5 minutes they rever the money they revers the whole money it didn’t take 5 minutes I was still on the phone they return the money so they said they follow up with the person to you know to reconcile yeah I
Think uh the last interview I did with also said when they stole his credit card and all the the reverse all of the money that because the guy was tapping the card was spending the the money know in UK you don’t necessar need to know my
Thing just St and you are able to do was stopping and buying things with his credit card and all but he got all of his money even one of my housemates shared an experience he said he lost his 18 before he could notice that L his ATM

Can even kill you so I had to Bow myself since to I went to go and take garlic ginger and there a mixture that my mom taught me and I took it and two days C left so don’t get sick because although because of the process here they book
You for an appointment because there there are so many people on the Cure also so and when they book you for an appointment you’re seeing a doctor don’t think that they will start toing injection immediately start ading dri you know they have to do some level of
