    Measure it. If it is 35mm long you can fit up to 11sp mtb. If it is 32mm you are limited to 7sp

  2. That’s a 7 speed hub, so you can’t get more cassette cogs unless you change the Freehub body or rebuild the wheel with a standard 8+ speed hub.

    The issue with upgrading would be hub spacing, AKA Over Locknut Dimension (OLD). 7 speed hubs have either a 126mm or 130mm OLD, while 8+ speed freehubs use either 130mm or 135mm spacing.

    If you’re lucky enough for the frame to have 130mm hub spacing, you could probably find a new wheel as a drop in replacement
