I deleted the last post as the tape caused some confusion. Here are some better pictures without the tape. It is a “depression” in the frame where the seatpost goes in. With all of the frame issues around these I wanted to see what you all thought. Photos are linked below.

Thank you.. that does not look normal. I’d bring that to your LBS to check it out.
If that tiny divot has any effect on the performance of that bike in any regard, I would be shocked.
Nothing to worry about. Most likely a mark from the tooling or mold they didn’t see when they were doing their body work/bondo.
