
At work early this morning (I am a crossing guard that commutes year-round), I finally saw the person who clears the sidewalks with a small tractor.
I stopped him, greeted and asked if he could clear the snow around the bike racks because the students were forced to park in snow banks and lock up to parking signs. In a word, itβs not good for the operation, mechanics or functioning of the bicycle.
As you can see, he was kind enough to clear the snow before the students got to school today.
Iβm really proud of these hardy student cyclists who are braving windchill temps from -25 F to -10 F this week. There is even a unicyclist locked up there now.
