Im REALLY curious to try/experience the things they’ve done here, but the cost of entry is pretty silly without full commitment.
Massively divided so far. If we ignore the howls of “you’ve ripped off Ruben” …. Which they haven’t, full sus bmx bikes have been around as long as bmx has existed in some form or another, then it’s a bike that might tick the boxes for those who ride bmx but find large 29″ wheel downhill bikes just unwieldy and less fun. It’s price vs downhill bikes is also a massive bonus as it’s a fraction of the price. However realistically it’s very niche, and it’s only really useable for bike parks where the trails are maintained and sculpted more like bmx trails as it’s wheel base and suspension travel isn’t meant for black run type heavy downhill use, equally pointless in a skatepark where you don’t need suspension let alone heavy treaded tyres and relaxed geometry, and I can’t see it being useful for street as A – you can’t run pegs and again B – do you really need a full sus bike for street? So yeah overall it’s an anomaly, I’d give one a go if offered sure, could be a load of fun at a bike park, but I can’t see myself buying one to use over a proper downhill or free ride oriented big wheel bike as in most cases excluding cost they’ll be better for the job.
