Painted seatpost is a little dodgy ngl. The quality can be great but use some of the saved money to buy a quality helmet.
I raced in this frame last season and know a lot of others who do as well. It’s solid and I haven’t had issues with the carbon at all. I found that the tolerance was bad with the seatpost and it would get stuck in the frame. Also the drop out plates and tensioner are not high quality, they became damaged on mine through general use

I’ve toyed with building an Elves UCI approved frame for gears over “entry level” big three roadie.
This is the frame I had on order back in 2020 also. Cancelled it and got the look I have now when it was taking several weeks to ship out when it was supposedly ready.
