Hello everyone, I own a Cannondale Topstone carbon 6 which is equipped with the GRX400 groupset.
Nothing to complain about it but I’m looking to update my wheels to some carbon ones, in order to improve my commute time (25 km one way).
All the wheels, be it Zipp, Hunt or Mavic are compatible with Shimano 11 or 12 speeds but mine is a 10 speed.
What should I do? Update my GRX400 to 600 in the back or can the wheels be mounted without any problems?

It should just work with a spacer. I think you need a 1.85mm spacer to run a 10s cassette in an 11s freehub body.
No need to upgrade, just make sure the wheels you’re buying have a HyperGlide(HG) freehub body and then just swap the cassette to your new rear wheel. All 10,11sp and some 12sp Shimano hubs use HG freehub body, including your current wheelset.

Just want to say I love the Beetle Green! I have the same bike in Abyss Blue and I was so torn on which color to get. I love the blue but man, that looks good! I’ll be saving this post if I ever decide to get new wheels 🙂

I’m all for getting nice gear but keep in mind, for a 1 hour commute you won’t save more than 1-2minutes with any kind of better wheels.
