  1. Out of place imo. I feel like braking surfaces don’t really contribute to the dazzle and the hubs don’t stand out against a white frame enough for them to carry the shiny seatpost. If it were my bike and I was riding it brakeless I’d go in the opposite direction – rims without braking surfaces, or black braking surfaces.

  2. Hypothetically if you used any other color seat post it would look out of place cause everything else is black right? Same with silver. If you wanted to spend a whole bunch of money and change all the black components to silver then it would look good. At that point you might as well get a second frame cause you’ll have about everything you need to make a second bike. In the end do whatever YOU like cause it’s your bike and you should make it the way that suits you.
