Found a unique frame and was wondering if anyone could give me more info on it. Recently purchased the frame off Ebay, seems to have been from a long gone local bike shop in the 70s but from what I’ve read online, during that time the owner would take older frames and repurpose/retrofit them then sell again with his logo. It’s Columbus, came with a Shimano 600 groupset, then I added some components from my parts bin the last two days to build it up into the first photo. The following photos are from the eBay listing. Any idea what this frame might have been or was it common to buy Columbus tubing or premade frames then sell bikes at that time? I’m curious because of the Cologne/Köln city logos with builder (guess) initials on the top of the fork. Again, I’m guessing mid 70s. Thanks!

I think that version of Shimano 600 was early 80s.
