Zipp 404 10spd wheels with aluminium braking track. Recently got a puncture and noticed what I think may be a crack around the nipple? Haven’t noticed any impact to the ride and wheels still in true etc but worried this could all end badly with a spectacular failure. I wasn’t sure if it might still be fine as it’s an aluminium brake track? Is it still okay to ride casually on/any chance of repaired? What might have caused it?

That rim is dead. Time for a new rim/wheel. Or new bike day.
