Don’t people usually use bar mitts *or* mittens, not both?
I can see knit bar mitts doing poorly in wet weather, but I gotta say those look great. You could try using a small sheet of thin flexible plastic to stiffen those up, perhaps scavenged from a cheap cutting board for example.
Need to at least run your car every few days.
Your lead/acid battery will go downhill if you don’t charge and discharge enough.
