2015-16 Specialized Diverge A1 on FB marketplace, listed for $450. I’m really diving into the biking world and I’m curious to know if this bike is worth the price.
Seller said ‘*Brake pads need to be replaced and a tune up required as I have not been riding in a year*’.
I’m wondering what the biking communities think, appreciate any help!

Looks beat up. Some clear tape could have helped, if the owner had cared. I think that says something about the maintenance attitude/approach.
Can you get a shot of the chainring and cassette to see how worn the teeth are?
If not then do you have a LBS that could take a look?
