Went for a ride today around the Berliner Mauerweg. The bike was great despite the weather which made it mostly a miserable experience. With 1 degrees + wind and rain, it definitely would have been a day on the indoor trainer if I was at home.
You don’t need a bell with the Sram brakes – most people probably thought the train was coming. Just curious if anybody swapped their discs to Shimano or any other change to make the braking quieter?

All disc brakes are going to squeak when wet and muddy. As long as it stops you there’s nothing to worry about.
Can confirm sram and shimano are similarly quiet when set up properly and in dry weather
