Looks like a charger 2.1 on a yari chassis with new gen decals.
$400 isn’t too bad for a Yari at least.
Mannnn you bought a used fork that has been in such a bad accident that the crown had to be replaced? OUCH. I wouldn’t have done that.
That said, when I cracked the lowers on my last rock shox back in 2010, they had one set of lowers they used for all their forks. So it arrived without any labelling on it. They wanted me to pay them for the labels and I laughed and said no ill just ride it blank and tell everyone it’s a fox. But thats beside the point, this is most likely a yari with lyrik stickers on it.
I’d send it back and get in on that FOX sale at Jensen. I got a new 2023 Fox 38 performance 29″ for $499.
Lyrik and Yari used to have an identical chasis, these days I believe the Lyrik ultimate has more bushing overlap, but that’s given by the lowers. If only the crown was replaced, it’s not a big deal. You look to have the charger 2.1, which is just better than the charger 3 BS, so I’d be happy with it.

Nothing wrong with that fork. That generation Lyrik and yari share same chassis. Has an ultimate damper. Charger 2.1. Can do a lower service on it easily. Just need a cassette tool that fits on a 3/8 or 1/2 inch socket wrench and the right oil. Can look that up. I went from a fox 36 factory to a lyrik ultimate and was best thing I ever did. Felt better immediately at stock settings.
I bet what happened was he scratched the stanchion, had someone fix it, they were like, “we’ve got a used upper from a yari with bad lowers, same part and it’ll save him money” and that’s why the serial doesn’t match. Cheaper and easier than switching out a stanchion. Or he cut it too short but he’s embarrassed so he said he crashed. 😂
