I made a comment on this sub about having a cold ride coming up. A few people had some questions so I figured I’ll make my own thread about it.
Alberta is having a cold snap right now so geared up for a cold one. Managed a new PR for cold weather riding!
It was a pretty awesome ride despite the temperature. Managed to ride a little bit of singletrack on the way to work. I was going to ride around a little bit more but my lights quickly died so I got into work a bit early.

My first thought was “you’re crazy!” and then I realised that I have not yet found the cold to be too uncomfortable to ride in. We find ways to cope, and its fine.
