A Quiet Wander Around The Most Beautiful Village In Northumberland

We’re heading north, driving up to Scotland on a road trip with the van. Driving through the county on Northumberland, the northern most county in England situated just below the Scottish border, we decided to pay a visit to my favourite village in the county, Blanchland. Good morning and welcome back to another episode this week we are driving north into Scotland but before we reach there we wanted to drive through the Cy of Northumberland which is a really picturesque Scenic part of the country it’s uh the northernmost County here in England which is just below the border

Of Scotland um and we’ve stopped at my favorite favorite Village in norand which is blanchland and it’s home to one of my top five I’d say hotels here in England which is the Lord crew arms it was a former um part of a former ABY and

It’s just a dreamy location to stay the whole atmosphere of this Village is Just a Dream um and the interior of the hotel they just like stepping back in time it’s amazing and the is divine and they grow a lot of their own produce here as

Well which is which is lovely um so I’m going to take you around the village and maybe take a little peek Inside Is So this is the back of the Lord crew arms so as well as being a hotel it is also um there’s a pub there is a restaurant um and it’s quite deceiving because out the back it looks quite small but when you see it from the front

All of the houses surrounding the square in front are actually owned by the Lord crew arms trust so there’s a lot more rooms then you would think to this wonderful little property Every time I’ve stayed I’ve stayed in this property here especially that room right at the top which is really really beautiful so super cozy and warm and you get lovely views back out over towards the main body of the hotel and also the surrounding Fields Beyond

Which are always full of sheep and very very Misty in a morning especially at this time of Year You can see just here that little triangle there and also there you can see where there would have been um another building at on point in this Church’s life I’ve just seen this sign which I think is really nice that you can go and get a key from the hotel reception if the aby’s close that you’re able to enter that is really Lovely
