Exage was a pretty entry level group so that should tell you where the bike sat in the line up,
all about price

Those first generation Shimano STI levers tend to get gummed up. Make sure they are working or that you know a mechanic that can fix them before you buy
That’s a pretty basic, entry level road bike. Nothing special
