  1. It’s old, early to mid nineties. Quill 1 1/8 stem, threaded headset. Rigid fork. You’re missing lots of parts. 26″ wheels most likely.

    You’re going to spend a bunch of money on what was a pretty cheap bike to begin with back in the day. Strip it down, keep it for parts, but go try to find a complete bike that doesn’t need much. This is a money pit unless you have access to a bike co op where you could get older used parts cheap.

    If you have spare parts from other bikes, maybe. If not, it’s going to cost as much as buying a bike.

  3. Waste of money and time. I think even the crazy folks in the xbike feed would tell you the same thing.

  4. My daily is a bike almost exactly like this except yours is better because of the head tube. I’m using a quil adapter. I added shifter bosses, disc brakes and a couple other things though.
