I picked up a new bike at a pawn shop here in Guatemala, and I can’t for the life of me figure out what brand it is
It says “action sport” all over it as if that’s the brand, and the only other text is “design by Jiang” and “team edition”
Any help would be appreciated, I’m leaning towards it’s a Chinese OEM bike but I’m

Yeah, I’d go with your intuition here.
Wow, I haven’t seen thumb shifters in a long time. But yes – it’s a low-end, older “mountain style” bike. It might be fine for basic gravel or easy dirt trails. Have someone do a safety and mechanical check on it first.
Just call it a Huffy and move on.
