Finally send my road bike off to the shop for the finishing touches so now it’s on to the next build. I need help finding a headset and fork (rigid or suspension) for my 1998 stumpy commuter/grocery getter. Preferably cantilever brakes. Also I’m using Ho-Oh from Pokemon as build inspo(pictured below)

Measure the inside diameter of the headtube – this will let you know what headset cups you need to press in.
It’ll likely be 34mm diameter, so an EC34 top and bottom but I’m sure there’s someone whose worked on a 98′ Stumpy that could confirm. This would mean you could fit any **straight** threadless 1 1/8″ fork.
But again, measure to be sure.
