Vienna in Austria is a great starting place for short and long gravel tours. This is east of Vienna, looking at the Leithagebirge. Because of tons of wind mills we now have a new and huge network of gravel roads that are legal to bike but illegal for cars, so you spend hours and hours on the bike without having to worry about traffic.

I would say so and if there are windmills there I am sure it was a challenge as well.
