So I’m trying to understand universal hub guards and how they work I’ve been grinding on my unprotected drive side like a goober, thankfully no damage then I switched my pegs to the other side and I’m just trying to get very budget friendly hub guards are these any good (sorry if the quality is bad) thanks for the help in advance

I’m not a fan of the ones that clip on to the spokes as they wear the paint off the spokes but they work if you are in so far you’re good hit your spokes it’s better to have that over nothing. For the rear I’d get the GSport uniguard, and go back to drive side if it’s what you’re comfy with. But in all honesty if you haven’t damaged anything yet you’re probably good enough to not even need them🤷♂️
Interested in opinions on this guard also.
I bought brand new Eclat wheels with guards. I had to grind and cut a LOT off the drive side guard to make it fit my Fly frame.
Now I’ve switched the wheels to my Cult and I can’t find a replqcement Eclat Gong hubguard to replace it because Eclat are currently without UK Distro. Kinda bugs me that I have a (badly) modified hubguard.
Ride related damage = good
Bad workmanship damage = triggered 🤣
